For all you guys who haven’t RSVP’d to Rob’s going away party–his last day in NYC is 01.18.08. He’s leaving for Japan and who knows when you’ll see him again? J.J. put a lot of effort into putting this whole “Cloverfield” shindig together … remember, Cloverfield is code … gotta give the guy credit for making this a surprise. The not knowing is the fun part!
[IMG:L]There’s been some rumors flying around, let’s admit we all talk about each other but it’s in jest, maybe we should squelch some of those false truths in case that’s why you haven’t replied. If one of these is about you–then you may want to come to the party to debunk the callous lie!! (Check out these cool photos of Cloverfield partygoers)
Rumor #1: Seriously, Rob is leaving town, not because he’s having a sort of quarter-life crisis, but he was promoted and got some bigwhig, VP of Whatever, job. But, you all know that, right? You SHOULD if you’re his friend.
Rumor #2: This is so up in the air but it’s too good not to repeat … a certain lady might be pregnant–guess she was bitten by the love bug. That girl will probably give birth to an alien! So mean, but so true. We shall see if she shows up!
Rumor #3: Hate to admit this, but this rumor is in fact true, and you know who you are … end of the night this guy turns into a complete monster. We have no idea why that is … but really … don’t ruin the night by destroying everything in sight. Oh, and his little entourage … they get so handsy end of the night … clamping onto you!
Not to be a mood spoiler–this is about Rob’s going away party!!
[IMG:R]The usual suspects will be there.You can expect Jason, Rob’s brother, and his girlfriend Lily to be attached at the hip. And, the always stunning Beth, wait did she and Rob ever hook up? He’s been in love with her since college! Hud will be there but he’ll be on camera duty. Be prepared to do a video testimonial at the door…yep, we’re rollin’ wedding-style. Bet Marlena makes a brief appearance.
