CNN morale said to be sinking

Morale at CNN has sunk to an all-time low, with female anchors especially
fearing that any of them over the age of 40 could face early termination,
the New York Daily News reported today (Friday). One CNN
source told the newspaper, “Every female on-air personality over 40 knows
there’s a bullet, ready to be fired, with each person’s name on it.” Another
CNN source remarked that CNN president Walter Isaacson and CNN chairman
Jamie Kellner appear to be at odds over the direction of the network. “They
have opposite styles,” the source told the Daily News. It’s becoming
schizophrenic around here.” A CNN spokeswoman denied the reports.
