Comedy club memorial for Giraldo

The comedian died on Wednesday (29Sep10) five days after he was admitted to hospital following an accidental drug overdose.

He was due to take the stage at the Governor’s Comedy Club in Levittown, New York on Friday and the manager is now planning to replace his set with a tribute to the late funnyman.

Giraldo’s DVDs will be shown on the venue’s television sets and instead of an admission fee, donations will be handed to the star’s family.
