Corey Stoll & Brian d’Arcy James land top cop roles in West Side Story

Corey Stoll and Brian Dʼarcy James have signed on to play police officers Lieutenant Schrank and Sergeant Krupke in Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story revamp.
The actors will join Rita Moreno, Ansel Elgort, and newcomer Rachel Zegler in the film, adapted from a script by Oscar-nominated and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tony Kushner.
He has adapted the screenplay from the original 1957 Broadway musical, which was written by Arthur Laurents with music by Leonard Bernstein and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim.
The film will shoot this summer (19).
