Country star Tony Brown charged with domestic assault

Country music producer Tony Brown is facing a domestic assault charge after an alleged incident at his home.
Police officers in Nashville, Tennessee, arrived at the four-time Grammy Award winner’s house on Monday night (22Feb16) after they received a call from Brown’s wife, Jamie Nicole.
According to WATE.com, Jamie Nicole’s police statement detailed how the couple had fought over a planned photo shoot, before Brown allegedly assaulted her.
The country star, who in his early career as a musician worked with Elvis Presley and Rosanne Cash, was charged with domestic assault early on Tuesday morning (23Feb16).
After the alleged incident Jamie Nicole was taken to a Nashville hospital for medical treatment.
Brown, who was also a producer on Lionel Richie’s 2012 album Tuskegee, was also arrested for domestic assault in 2013.
