Craig David back atop U.K. charts with comeback album

R&B star Craig David has sealed his comeback by scoring his first number one album in 16 years.
Following My Intuition is the Fill Me In hitmaker’s first album since 2010, and fans flocked to purchase the new material, helping Craig beat Bon Iver to the coveted spot by just 4,500 units.
The singer last landed atop the U.K. albums chart with Born To Do It in 2000.
Bon Iver’s 22, A Million debuts at two, ahead of The Shires’ My Universe, which becomes the fastest-selling release by a British country music artist in the chart’s history.
Van Morrison is another new entry at four with Keep Me Singing, while Radiohead’s A Moon Shaped Pool bounces back into the top five at five.
Meanwhile, James Arthur remains in pole position at the top of the U.K. singles countdown, earning a second week in first place with Say You Won’t Let Go.
The Weeknd climbs up one spot to two with his new Daft Punk collaboration Starboy, and The Chainsmokers slip to three with Closer.
