Curly Sue star auditions for The Voice

Curly Sue actress Alisan Porter is hoping for a shot at singing stardom as a contestant on the upcoming season of TV talent show The Voice.
The former child star is best known for playing the titular tot in the beloved 1991 film, but she has always had a passion for music, and released an album in 2008.
Now 34, she is back onstage and vying for a chance to win a recording contract on the upcoming 10th season of the hit singing competition.
In her audition, Porter belted out an impressive version of the classic Blue Bayou, and received a coveted four-chair turn from coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Christina Aguilera.
In a teaser clip, she explains to the judges that she is motivated to win the contest after becoming sober nearly eight years ago.
The 10th season of The Voice premieres in the U.S. on 29 February (16).
