Dame Judi Dench & Dustin Hoffman nominated for International Emmys

Dame Judi Dench and Dustin Hoffman have been honoured with International Emmy nominations for their BBC TV movie Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot.
The two veterans picked up the nods on Monday (26Sep16) for their film about a bachelor’s attempts to woo an elderly neighbour.
Brazil leads the list of nominations this year with seven, while Britain has six and Germany five, including Best TV Movie/Mini-series and Best Actor (Florian Stetter) for the acclaimed Nackt Unter Wolfen (Naked Among Wolves).
The International Emmys, which honour excellence in TV programming across the globe will be announced at a ceremony hosted by Alan Cumming at the Hilton New York Hotel on 21 November (16).
Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal creator and executive producer Shonda Rhimes will be presented with the honorary International Emmy Founders Award at the gala.
