David Beckham and Rod Stewart bond over soccer

The two Los Angeles-based Brits converged in a park last week (ends30Sep12) to watch their sons play a match.

Beckham’s sons Brooklyn, Romeo, and Cruz took to the field alongside Alistair, Stewart’s son with model Penny Lancaster, while the two proud dads sat side-by-side to watch the game.

David’s wife Victoria later turned up with their daughter Harper in tow – and the tot joined in with her sporty siblings by kicking a red ball around the sidelines.

Beckham plays for L.A. Galaxy while Stewart played professional soccer as a teen before moving into singing.
