Debra Messing wants naughty Will & Grace to return to TV

Actress Debra Messing wants a Will & Grace return on cable or pay-per-view TV, so she and her castmates can be a bit naughty.
Messing and her co-stars teased a reunion over the weekend and then came together for a politically-themed online sketch, which aired before Monday night’s (26Sep16) U.S. presidential debate between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
Fans went wild and started clamouring for the hit sitcom to return to TV, but Debra, who played Grace, insists if the show was to come back, there would have to be a few risque episodes.
“The response has been very overwhelming and really, really heartwarming,” she told People. “If there was a Will & Grace 2.0, my wish is that we did 10 (episodes) on, like, Netflix or Amazon or somewhere where it could be the naughty version of Will & Grace.
“We were on network television and there were certain lines of common storytelling that we were limited to, so it would be fun to kind of go into that world where nothing is held back.”
Monday’s one-off revival sketch, staged to encourage Americans to vote at the polls in November (16), has been viewed more than 3.5 million times.
