Diego Luna and Leslie Grace to appear on new Spanish-language Sesame Street

Actor DIEGO LUNA, singer LESLIE GRACE, and EUGENIO DERBEZ’s actor son are set to feature on a new Spanish-language version of educational children’s show SESAME STREET.
Sesame Amigos will air on America’s Univision network and will include beloved characters Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert & Ernie, and Big Bird.
Luna, Grace and Vahdir Derbez will appear alongside Univision stars Carlos Calderon, Lourdes Stephen, Tony Dandrades, Jackie Guerrido, Maity Interiano, William Valdez, and Pablo ‘La Torre de Jalisco’ Ramirez.
Alberto Ciurana, Univision’s president of Programming & Content, says, “Sesame Amigos is a new and innovative show designed specifically for Spanish-speaking families in the U.S.
“While versions of Sesame Street air in more than 150 countries, Sesame Amigos will provide Spanish-speaking preschoolers the tools they need to succeed in the United States.”
The series will premiere on Saturday (01Aug15).
