SOAPnet’s Being Erica Premiere

Sex and the City re-runs? Stop it already. It’s time to move on … with another single, sexy, funny, in-her-30s chick — but she’s got a skill that Carrie Bradshaw would’ve traded her Manolos and her Louboutins for. Meet Erica Strange (Erin Karpluk), who loves to lament on all of her regrets, mistakes and bad decisions of her past with her shrink, Dr. Tom (Michael Riley). Man, does Erica wish she could travel, flashback-style, and fix it all … ah, but she can. And will — with the help of Dr. Tom, part-therapist, part-rogue. In each episode, Erica’s Super Shrink will catapult his struggling patient back to whatever boo-boo of the past to which Erica will perform a happier do-over, and with any luck, her “present” will head anywhere but nowhere (10 PM ET/PT).
