Four seasons later, and Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick) and Fritz (Jon Tenney) still aren’t married. It’s exasperating, we know, but tonight, it being the day before their wedding and all, maybe they’ll finally be able to update their Facebook status to: “Brenda tied the knot with Fritz, woot!” Or … not. Because who’s got time to memorize vows when Brenda’s superconsumed with a robbery/murder combo at an escort service, and Fritz is looking to arrest a drug lord named El Jefe, ohpleaseohplease? If guest star Amy Sedaris, playing sister to Fritz, has a damn say, then the nuptials will happen. She will reign in the reluctant bride and groom even if it takes inviting said robber, murderer and drug lord to the altar.
