If you think the business of talk shows is easy, just take a look at Dr. Laura Schlessinger.
Plagued by protests, bad publicity and weak showings since its inception, the titular radio personality’s eponymous TV talk show “Dr. Laura” has once again come under fire.
The New York Post says that the talk show host has been reportedly planting fake guests on her show. One such mole, the tab says, was allegedly Dr. L’s researcher who had appeared on the show twice (and two days in a row, no less) but as different people.
The Post was apparently tipped off by someone from the Gay and Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation who watched the two shows and saw through the disguise.
Paramount, the show’s producers, has remained quiet on the accusations.
