Drake hints at Skepta label signing

Drake has sparked rumours suggesting he is teaming up with British rapper Skepta for a new business venture.
The Started From The Bottom star is signed to Lil Wayne’s Young Money Entertainment label and he also has his own OVO Sound brand, an imprint of Warner Bros. Records, but it appears the Canadian native may have embarked on a new music deal with British grime artist Skepta after hinting at a collaboration with his Boy Better Know label online following an appearance at the BRIT Awards in London, where he performed with Rihanna.
“The first Canadian signed to BBK,” Drake wrote beside a photo of the pair performing together at the Village Underground venue on Wednesday night (24Feb16). “Big up my brudda (Skepta) for life yeah (sic)…”
Skepta also fuelled speculation about the new partnership by sharing a photo of a BBK/OVO shirt on his Instagram page.
The stars have yet to elaborate on the posts, but Drake has been friends with Skepta for years, and even has a ‘BBK’ tattoo on his body. They also joined forces for BBK artist Wizkid’s Ojuelegba Remix track, while Drake invited Skepta to be a special guest at his Wireless Festival gig in London last summer (15).
