Eagles considering dates with Jimmy Buffett in 2018

The Eagles and Jimmy Buffett are in talks for a hot ticket 2018 celebration.
Longtime Eagles manager Irving Azoff let the plans slip during a chat with Best Classic Bands about the future for the Hotel California band in the wake of co-founder Glenn Frey’s 2016 death.
The group initially decided not to continue without Frey, but then signed on for the Classic East and Classic West festivals this summer (17), recruiting country star Vince Gill and Frey’s son Deacon to the group for the shows.
Azoff revealed that tentative plans are being made for a “celebration” of both artists at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado next summer (18).
“The Eagles are in an experimental phase,” he explained. “We just kind of do things that feel right. I don’t know how long it’ll go.”
Buffett and the Eagles have toured together in the past – the Margaritaville singer opened for the group on their 1976 tour. He also inducted the band into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
