Elizabeth Banks developing ‘The Flintstones’ TV reboot

Elizabeth Banks is dusting off Stone Age cartoon ‘The Flintstones’ to launch a modern reboot.

The star is developing the animated TV series, which according to Variety features the beloved Flintstones characters in all-new storyline, with bosses at Warner Bros. under her company, Brownstone Productions.

The original Hanna-Barbera show ran in the U.S. from 1960-66 and inspired two live-action feature films in 1994 and 2000.

Banks recently revamped another TV classic, directing the upcoming ‘Charlie’s Angels’ movie, starring herself, Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska.
