Ellie Goulding offers up Vincent cover for Valentine’s Day

Singer Ellie Goulding has given her fans a Valentine’s Day treat by releasing a cover of Don Mclean’s ballad Vincent on the most romantic day of the year.

The track, which first appeared on McLean’s American Pie album in 1971, is a tribute to painter Vincent van Gogh.

Ellie released the cover without fanfare on Wednesday morning (14Feb18), stating, “My album isn’t ready yet, but for the best fans in the world, here’s my offering for Valentines Day.”
