Emmy-winning producer Morgan dies

He passed away from natural causes on 3 March (11) in Brattleboro, Vermont.

The New York native, who served in the U.S. army during World War Two, began his career in showbusiness as a writer and producer.

He won an Emmy Award in 1968 for his work on American breakfast programme The Today Show, and later became a playwright, penning Broadway show Minor Miracle and co-writing musical Oh Captain!. He moved to Vermont in 1977 and continued his career as an author.

Morgan is survived by a son and two daughters from his marriage to late actress Martha Falconer.
