Estonia easily outdistanced the competition to become the surprise winner of the 46th Eurovision contest, Reuters reports. Everybody, sung by Estonia’s Tanal Padar and Dave Benton (who is Caribbean born), scored 198 points to snag the top prize, ahead of Denmark’s total of 177 and Greece’s tally of 147 points. Favorites for the pan-European songfest, France and Sweden, came in fourth and fifth respectively. Benton has previously worked with established pop stars such as Tom Jones, The Drifters and Billy Ocean.
