Victoria Beckham has bent her own style rules and worn a pair of Ugg boots.
The British fashion designer apparently “couldn’t say no” when her long-time friend Eva Longoria offered her a pair of the comfortable slippers to wear the morning after the actress’ wedding to Jose ‘Pepe’ Baston on Saturday (21May16).
“Morning after foot attire,” the Telenovela star captioned an Instagram photo posted on Sunday. “Me and VB relaxing by the lake #YesIGotHerToWearUggs.”
While the stiletto loving former Spice Girl, who attended the wedding in Mexico with husband David, late regrammed the cute snap, writing, “I can’t believe she put me in Uggs!! You can’t say no to the bride!!!!”
Eva, 41, and Jose, 48, tied the knot at an estate in Valle de Bravo at sunset in a romantic outdoor ceremony attended by friends including Ricky Martin, Melanie Griffith, Vanessa Williams and Mario Lopez. The star looked beautiful in a custom made white column gown designed by Victoria, which boasted a sweetheart neckline on the bodice top. She accessorised with a sparkling diamond necklace and had her signature brunette locks styled in chic waves, while the groom wore a simple grey three piece suit.
Of her role in the wedding, Victoria shared that she was simply honoured to share in her pal’s special day.
Victoria, who wore a strapless black dress to the star-studded event, later shared a photo on Instagram with the bride, writing, “Congratulations @evalongoria The smartest, most beautiful woman I have ever met. I feel honoured to call you my friend X Such a wonderful day filled with Love X We love Pepe so much!!!”
Eva became engaged last December (15) during a vacation in Dubai, where Televisa boss Jose presented his love with a ruby ring. They began dating in late 2013.
The marriage is the actress’ third after failed unions to actor Tyler Christopher and basketball star Tony Parker.
