Ex-NATO commander hired by CNN

CNN has landed the former supreme commander of NATO as a military analyst. Ret. Gen. Wesley Clark, who became NATO commander in 1997 and retired in May of last year, had commanded NATO operations in Kosovo during his term. In a statement, CNN President Phil Kent said, “His 34 years of firsthand experience with military procedure coupled with his understanding of the world’s troubled areas will provide CNN viewers with the best analysis available of armed conflicts around the world.”
