The Players: Snoop Dogg, Pam Grier; directed by Ernest Dickerson

The Skinny: A group of kids plan to open a nightclub at an old abandoned inner-city building. Unfortunately, the place is overrun by ghosts. Oops. They enlist the help of a clairvoyant (Grier) to ward off the evil spirits.

The Bottom Line: Take one part hip-hop, one part Amityville Horror and one part Foxy Brown and you have Bones. This movie could define a new genre in horror..or go immediately into the direct-to-video afterlife.
