4. English author J.K. Rowling is hosting a midnight signing of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows at London’s Natural History Museum on July 21.

8. Angelina Jolie has shot a new print ad for Japanese cosmetics giants Shiseido. The campaign for the company’s new liquid eyeliners will appear in magazines later this year.

9. Music legend Quincy Jones and moviemaker Brett Ratner are set to team up to make an ambitious documentary about Brazil’s annual street carnival in Rio de Janeiro. The odd couple plans to make Carnaval 3D: The Magic & The Music as a three-dimensional big-screen spectacular.
