Fire shuts down live programming at MSNBC

MSNBC was forced to cut away from live programming on Wednesday and air an old documentary instead when an electrical fire broke out in its studios in Secaucus, NJ. The cable channel shut down the studio and evacuated about 200 employees at 10:00 a.m. It resumed live broadcasts about a half hour later, from outside the regular studio.
