Former American Idol finalist arrested in drug bust

Former American Idol finalist Curtis ‘C.J.’ Harris has been arrested during a drug bust.
The 25-year-old, who appeared on season 13 of the talent show, was arrested for allegedly selling oxycodone and marijuana to a confidential informant in Alabama, Us Weekly reports.
Harris was among 11 other people busted in the raid, which was carried out on Thursday (06Oct16). He was booked on three counts of felony distribution of a controlled substance, and is being held on $90,000 bail, the Walker County Sheriff Department confirmed.
According to the sheriff office’s Facebook page, the Narcotics and Swat Divisions “conducted a drug distribution and warrant roundup,” and executed 18 warrants, 14 of which were drug related.
Harris finished sixth during his season of American Idol in 2014, which Caleb Johnson went on to eventually win.
