Former Brady Bunch star Barry Williams filed charges of unfair labor practices Monday with the National Labor Relations Board against Actor’s Equity Association, Reuters reports. Equity fined Williams $52,000 in January for accepting the role of Captain Von Trapp in the non-Equity production of The Sound of Music, produced by Troika Entertainment. Williams filed the charges with assistance of the National Right to Work Legal Defense Foundation, arguing that the fine was illegal because he had resigned from the union in September. Equity argued that, at the time, the actor was still a member of the union when he began the deal with Trokia.
