Former Flyleaf rocker makes hard rock history in U.S.

Lacey Sturm has made history at the top of the Billboard Hard Rock Albums chart in America by becoming the first solo female artist to land a number one.
It’s the second time her gender has made waves at the top of the countdown – her former band Flyleaf were the first female-led act to hit number one in 2009, with Memento Mori.
Life Screams, her debut solo set, rocketed to the top of the countdown on Tuesday (23Feb16), becoming only the seventh album featuring a female lead singer to top the chart.
Halestorm, Evanescence and The Pretty Reckless have also topped the list.
