Glenn Close donates film costumes to Indiana University

Glenn Close has donated her movie costumes to Indiana University’s School of Art, Architecture & Design.
The costumes from films including The Big Chill, Fatal Attraction, and 101 Dalmatians will be housed at the university’s Sage Fashion Collection and used by students in theatre, merchandising, and design classes.
“I treasure each costume because it was conceived and built by some of the very best in the business, and each piece has added, immeasurably, to my understanding of the characters I have inhabited,” a statement from the actress reads.
Close began working with officials at the school in 2013 in support of her Bring Change 2 Mind foundation, a nonprofit working to remove the stigma of mental illness.
