Gotti, Jr. sells film rights to his life story

John Gotti, Jr. has sold his story to Fiore Films executives, who will produce and distribute a feature-length movie based on his relationship with his notorious father.

This deal marks the first time a member of the Gotti family has entered into an agreement to tell their story.

Gotti, Jr. says, “During the past 20 years, there have been numerous made-for-television movies, books and other representations about me, my father and our family. None of these projects were done in co-operation with my family and, in most cases, did not accurately reflect our lives.

“This film will not be a mob expose, but rather the true story of my life and relationship with my father.”

The film is slated to hit cinemas late next year (11).

The project’s director and the leads who will portray father and son have yet to be announced.

Gotti was head of the Gambino crime family, which in its heyday was the largest and most powerful crime organisation in the U.S.
