Green Day top best punk album poll

Green Day’s Dookie has been named the best punk album of all time in a new Rolling Stone poll.
The 1994 release, which features hits like Basket Case, When I Come Around, and Longview, beat another trio, Blink-183, to the top spot, but Mark Hoppus’ band lands two albums in the top 10 – Enema of the State at two and 1997’s Dude Ranch at eight.
The Ramones’ Rocket to Russia comes in third, while Descendents’ Milo Goes to College and Take This to Your Grave by Fall Out Boy round out the top five.
The Buzzcocks’ Singles Going Steady, Generation X’s eponymous 1978 release, and Paramore’s Riot! also make the top 10.
