Hanson recruit their kids for new music video

The Hanson brothers have tapped their children to star in the music video for new single I Was Born.
The three siblings soared to fame back in 1997 thanks to their single MMMBop, with Isaac, Taylor and Zac aged just 16, 14 and 11 years old respectively at the time.
With the men now celebrating 25 years together as a band with new music, the brothers have tapped 11 of their 12 collective kids to feature in the accompanying video to their song I Was Born.
“Featuring our own kids made sense because we knew they would share an honest performance,” Zac told People magazine. “We loved the fact that it added another dimension to the story of pursuing our dreams for the last 25 years.”
“From the earliest conversations about this song, we imagined kids featured in the video to elevate the song’s message of unbridled optimism for the future,” Taylor added.
The video flicks between the brothers and their children, who show off their own talents by pretending to play instruments and lip syncing along to the song. They also adorn fancy dress, appearing as everything from chefs to doctors.
“There was a lot of excitement across the board from the kids so we tried to just capture that in each appearance, which cover the gamut of their many personalities,” Isaac smiled. “Thankfully for us, they all love the song.”
I Was Born will feature on Hanson’s Greatest Hits album Middle of Everywhere, due for release in September (17).
