Harris to sing in Sondheim’s Company

The How I Met Your Mother actor will star in the production about a perennial bachelor, his dating life and his crazy married friends, which will be presented by the New York Philharmonic, according to the New York Times.

The performances will run from 7 to 9 April (11) and will be produced and directed by Lonny Price, with Paul Gemignani conducting.

Company last hit Broadway in 2006 in a production starring Raul Esparza. The show went on to win the Tony Award for best revival of a musical.

And Harris is excited to appear in the musical, which he hails as “a great show for good talent to get an opportunity to stop the show”.

Further casting details have yet to be announced.

Harris left the single life behind for partner David Burtka in 2004, and they solidified their relationship by welcoming twin baby boys via surrogate in October (10).
