Actor David Hasselhoff’s 24-year-old daughter has reportedly pleaded no contest to driving under the influence stemming from an incident last month (May17).
Hayley Hasselhoff, who is the former Baywatch star’s daughter from his marriage to Pamela Bach, was arrested after police officers found her passed out behind the wheel of her Mercedes Benz on an Los Angeles freeway off-ramp. Police said they found the actress passed out in the driver’s seat with her foot on the brake.
Hayley failed a field sobriety test and was taken to a hospital before she was booked. Sources told TMZ.com, her blood alcohol concentration count was well over California’s legal limit of 0.8 per cent and she was officially charged with DUI earlier this week (begs12Jun17).
Hasselhoff has now reportedly entered a plea in the case and has been placed on probation for three years. She also has to complete a 90-day alcohol abuse program and pay a $390 fine, while an ignition interlock system will be installed in her car, preventing her from driving until she has blown into a breathalyzer.
It is the second driving offense for the Knight Rider star’s daughter, whose license was suspended after she was charged with a DUI following an arrest in December, 2012. Hayley blamed her use of diet pills for a false positive breathalyzer test after she was pulled over on suspicion of speeding and drink-driving.
