9:01: Papa Petrelli’s sick bed is quite ornate.
9:03: Angry Skunk Bar, that’s where Hiro and Ando are when Hiro fake-kills Ando. I knew he couldn’t kill Ando for real, plans the whole thing to make it look like he did it. He just wants to go undercover with Pinehurst — and his first assignment is go find Parkman’s African friend.
9:06: Weird Puppetman wants to make Meredith love him. She doesn’t want to, of course. So he almost makes her cut her throat.
9:09: Bye, bye Adam Munroe. Papa Petrelli literally sucks his life force out, shriveling Adam into dust. Then he pulls all the tubes out, sits up in bed and says, “It’s great to breathe again.” Just another dysfunctional Petrelli.
9:13: Speedster and Matt meet cute at the airport — with Matt carrying a turtle in a cage. He tries to tell her about his future dream in which they get married and have a giant baby girl, but Speedster think he’s a little “stalky.”
9:16: Mohinder is major badass villain now. Nathan and Tracy come to see him to ask for help to get rid of their powers, but he injects them with something, and they collapse. But not for long.
9:24: Sylar wants to try to be “different,” wants to try to suppress his hunger and be a good guy and save his mom. Peter thinks he’s faking it.
9:26: African dude, the precog painter, whacks Hiro over the head with a shovel, just as Hiro is looking at a painting of himself getting whacked over the head with a shovel.
9:33 Puppetman now has Meredith, Claire AND Mrs. B under his control. They were trying to rescue Meredith but he caught them — and now he’s gonna mess with them with a little game of Russian roulette. But shooting Claire isn’t going to work, is it, you silly fat man?
9:34 Hiro tries to outsmart the African by going back in time to catch him, but the African is too clever for that. Hiro gets whacked over the head AGAIN with a shovel. That’s kind of funny.
9:45: Peter is not too keen having Sylar as a brother. He’s heading off to Pinehurst to get some answers — it’s always about getting answers for Peter — but Sylar tries to stop him. Peter overpowers him and ends up sedating him once again in the Company lab. Sylar just can’t get out of there.
9:50: Mohinder throws a metal bench at Tracy and Nathan as they are trying to escape. “We are not through here,” Mohinder sneers.
9:55: Matt’s wooing Speedster pretty good, telling her he is here to save her. But she’s a wily one. She moves fast and trusts no one. Meanwhile, African dude tells Hiro and Ando they have to go back and face the REAL villains. At Pinehurst.
9:57: At Pinehurst: Peter and Papa Petrelli have a nice father-son reunion — except Daddy sucks all of Peter’s powers out of him. “You can’t choose your family, but you can choose a side,” the preview tells us. Oh, boy.
