9:01 Hiro and Ando are still with the African dude. Hiro goes into a trance, as we go back in time:
9:02: [18 months ago] The family Petrellis throwing a party. All looks happy, but Papa Petrelli and Linderman sneak off for a talk. They are worried Petrelli’s brilliant Assistant DA son, Nathan, will expose all their evil ways. If Arthur can’t talk him out of it, he’ll just have to kill him.
9:07: [One year ago] Bookish Sylar feels bad for killing his first victim and tries to kill himself in the watch store. Elle is the one who saves him. She’s secretly working with Bennet and the Company, tracking Sylar.
9:12: [One year ago] Claire’s mom Meredith is offered a spot in the Company’s agency. She ends up liking the job, but because of her brother Flint, one of those true villains, she decides not to join.
9:14: Nathan gets into the accident that puts his wife in a wheelchair, as he floats above the car. He blames Linderman; Nathan wants to take him down. Later, Angela just has to ask Arthur: “Did you have Linderman try to kill our son?” He denies it, of course.
9:22: Elle still playing sweet with Sylar. She even brings him a pie. Makes him feel like Gabriel again. Oh wait, I see where this is going. Elle is the one who has Gabriel’s baby, has to be.
9:30: Angela finds out how bad Arthur is, realizes he wants to kill their son. His brainwashing powers makes her believe they have to kill Nathan.
9:38: Linderman has a bit of morality, and he wants to help heal Angela’s “scars” left on her by Arthur. Shows her the real truth.
9:40: Why does Meredith distrusts the Company? Because she thinks her little girl Claire died in a fire a long time ago. Just at the same moment, Claire runs into a burning train wreck to save a man — and emerge unharmed.
9:45 Elle introduces Gabriel to another person with powers, thinking maybe he can control his “hunger.” He can’t and she barely escapes with her life. Later, she’s still convinced Gabriel has a soul. See? Baby’s on the way.
9:50: Angela poisons Arthur, while the Haitian stands nearby so Arthur can’t use his powers. But Nathan comes home before she can get rid of him. Later, a doctor tells them Arthur is dead. But he’s not, he’s just in that paralyzed state, ready to be awakened again.
9:58: Hiro wakes up from the trance, knowing all about the past. Just then, he and Ando hear the African dude screaming. They run out to see the guy’s head has been ripped off. Arthur Petrelli steps out from the brush. “I hear you’ve been dreaming about me.” He grabs Hiro’s head, who immediately starts screaming.
