Hollywood Funnyman Howard Morris Dies

Hollywood funnyman Howard Morris died at his Los Angeles home on May 21 from natural causes. He was 85.

The comic actor shot to fame in 1963 playing beloved hillbilly Ernest T Bass
in hit ’60s TV show The Andy Griffith Show.

He went on to provide the voices for several animated TV characters,
including Beetle Bailey and Atom Ant.

And his love of television inspired him to spend the latter years of his life
directing popular shows like Bewitched and the small screen adaptation of movie
Private Benjamin.
