David Bowie’s widow Iman has posted a heartfelt tribute to the late musician to mark Valentine’s Day (14Feb17).
The 61-year-old model marked the romantic day by sharing an intimate black and white photograph of her sharing a kiss with David, who passed away in January (16) aged 69 following a battle with cancer.
In the archive snap shared across all her social media pages, the couple are pictured on a beach, with Iman wearing a white wrap around her head and a strapless dress and David wearing a white shirt and sun hat.
“My forever Valentine #BowieForever and #ValentinesDay,” she simply wrote in the caption.
This is just the latest in a string of online tributes Iman has posted to remember her husband. On what would have been his birthday in January (17), she posted a full-length picture from the same beach photo series taken by fashion photographer Bruce Weber and wrote, “#fbf #imanarchive #BowieForever”
In that snap, they are locked in an embrace and David is using his sun hat to hide their kiss from the camera.
Two days after, on the anniversary of his death in January (17), she shared a picture of a rainbow stretching across a grey New York sky and wrote: “Jan 10th, 2016 NYC Skyline #ForeverAndEver #ForeverLove #BowieForever.”
