The Indian government said Wednesday that it is providing security cover for 14 top actors after they were threatened by underworld figures who have allegedly muscled into the Bollywood film industry. Thursday’s Times of India reported that four other actors have hired private bodyguards. Citing security considerations, the government did not disclose the names of the actors who are being protected.
