James Cameron: One for the Thumb

Now if only James Cameron could be as unafraid to team up with Arnold one more time. Clearly the “Titanic” helmer is undaunted by the task of marriage. The oft-married (and oft-divorced) director forsook bachelorhood once again to wed actress Suzy Amis June 4 in Malibu, Calif., his camp has confirmed.

Cameron is 45, Amis is 39. (Other reports say she’s 42.)

The two met on the set of his 1997 Oscar-winning behemoth (uh, that would be “Titanic“). At the time, Cameron was still married Wife No. 4 Linda Hamilton, whom he met on the set of 1984’s “Terminator,” while he was courting Wife No. 2 producer Gale Anne Hurd. (Hamilton filed for divorce in 1998.)

This is Cameron’s fifth career marriage; Amis’ second.
