JAY-Z Admits to Cheating on Beyonce

Jay-Z has finally admitted that he cheated on his wife Beyonce.

His admission comes over a year after Beyonce’s explosive Lemonade album first hinted that the Jigga rapper had been unfaithful.

The rapper opened up about the power couple’s past marriage struggles in an interview with T, The New York Times Style magazine, as he discussed how undergoing psychotherapy had given him an insight into what caused him to break his marital vows.

“I grew so much from the experience,” he explained to the publication. “But I think the most important thing I got is that everything is connected. Every emotion is connected and it comes from somewhere.

“You know, you realize that if someone’s racist toward you, it ain’t about you. It’s about their upbringing and what happened to them, and how that led them to this point.

“You know, most bullies bully. It just happens. ‘Oh, you got bullied as a kid so you trying to bully me.’ I understand,” he continued. “You have to survive. So you go into survival mode, and when you go into survival mode, what happens? You shut down all emotions. So, even with women, you gonna shut down emotionally, so you can’t connect. In my case, like, it’s deep. And then all the things happen from there: infidelity.”

The rapper added that both he and Beyonce had “used their art like a therapy session”, with him responding to Lemonade with his own tell-all album 4:44 earlier this year.

“The best place is right in the middle of the pain,” the 48-year-old revealed. “And that’s where we were sitting. And it was uncomfortable. And we had a lot of conversations.”

The chart-topping couple have since repaired their union, with Beyonce giving birth to their twins Rumi and Sir in June (17), but Jay admitted it was difficult to see just how much the Formation singer was hurt by his infidelity.

“The hardest thing is seeing pain on someone’s face that you caused, and then have to deal with yourself.”

He also touched on his relationship with his mother Gloria Carter, with the lyrics in his song Smile referring to her sexuality, and explained in the interview that he always knew she was gay.

“We never spoke about it,” he told the New York Times Style magazine. “It just exist (sic). It was there. Everyone knew, but we never spoke about it.

“Now we start having these beautiful conversations, and just really getting to know each other,” he continued. “We were always good friends but now we’re really great friends. And we were just talking as friends. And then she was sharing that she was in love. She can be herself (now). She doesn’t have to hide for her kids or feel like she’s embarrassing her kids.”
