LOOK: Jennifer Lopez’s Epic Star-Studded Selfie Is Even Better Than Ellen’s

Jennifer Lopez, Kerry Washington, Sarah Paulson and Julianna Margulies among others posed for one epic selfie on Thursday (24Mar16).

Multi-talented star Jennifer, 40, has been setting the small screen alight with her role as a police officer in Shades of Blue.

She has some competition from veteran television stars though, such as Scandal‘s Kerry and The Good Wife‘s Julianna. It seems there is no real-life rivalry between the ladies, as they cuddled up in a group snap uploaded to Jennifer’s Instagram page.

Also in the frame were Fargo‘s Kirsten Dunst, Regina King of American Crime fame, Unreal‘s Constance Zimmer and The People v. O.J. Simpson‘s Sarah Paulson.

Jennifer didn’t tell her fans where the photo was taken, simply writing a cryptic caption that read: “Great afternoon w these beauties!!! #staytuned @KerryWashington @mssarahcatherinepaulson @kirstendunst #JuliannaMargulies @constancezimmer @iamreginaking.”

Constance then shared the shot on her own Instagram page, writing: “Pinch me”.

The selfie was reminiscent of the one Oscars host Ellen DeGeneres shared from at the ceremony back in 2014, getting Hollywood stars including Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Brad Pitt, Meryl Streep and Julia Roberts in the frame.

In just 30 minutes after she posted it on Twitter, Ellen’s selfie had reached a staggering 779,295 retweets – overtaking a record previously held by U.S. president Barack Obama.

Jennifer is currently enjoying huge success in Shades of Blue, in which she stars as New York Police Detective Harlee Santos, a single mother caught up in an FBI anti-corruption investigation. It’s a grittier turn than her previous starring roles in romantic comedies Monster-in-Law and Maid in Manhattan, but Jennifer believes each job arrives at the ideal moment.

“Even though I’ve learned more and I’ve grown as an actor and as a person, I think it just would be different,” she told Glamour.com recently when asked if she could go back and portray another character again.

“It would have to be at a certain place, and I think that’s why you get cast and why certain roles come to you. I’m a big believer in that. I think this role came at a perfect time for me with (Shades of Blue) because I needed to explore the complexities and the complications of life and where you go and why we do the things we do.”
