Jeremy Piven interview pulled from The Late Show

Jeremy Piven’s scheduled appearance on The Late Show on Friday night (03Nov17) has been pulled following the sex harassment allegations levelled at the actor.
Host Stephen Colbert interviewed Piven for the U.S. show earlier this week, before the sex scandal, and a spokesman for CBS, the network behind The Late Show and the actor’s new drama Wisdom of the Crowd, reveals as the allegations weren’t part of the TV chat, executives chose not to air the segment at all.
“Since we were unable to address recent developments in that interview, we are replacing that segment with a new guest,” a statement reads.
Actress Ariane Bellamar has accused Piven of groping her on the set of Entourage several years ago and again at a Playboy Mansion party.
CBS bosses are currently “looking into the matter”.
Longmire star Cassidy Freeman has also taken aim at Piven for his alleged “predatory behaviour”, calling it “a chronic way for you to seek power”.
Freeman took to social media on Wednesday (01Nov17) to attack Piven, but she didn’t go into details about the incident or incidents that prompted her outburst, and just claimed she was the victim of an unwanted interaction of a sexual nature with the actor in the past.
Piven has denied the claims.
