Jill Scott granted restraining order against estranged husband

R&B singer Jill Scott reportedly got a restraining order against husband Mike Dobson on the same day she filed for divorce from him.
The Golden star filed documents to end her marriage to Dobson, her husband of almost 15 months, on 15 September (17), citing “irreconcilable differences and inappropriate marital conduct” and insisting that “such further cohabitation would be unsafe and improper”, according to Bossip.com.
The website has now reported that Scott obtained a restraining order against Dobson on the same day as the filing. Under the order, neither of them can threaten, harass or stalk the other, or talk badly about each other in front of their children. They aren’t allowed to destroy or hide computer files or hide assets from their marriage, or spend money excessively without permission from the court.
After the divorce news was reported on Tuesday, Dobson told Bossip that he was “blindsided” by the news and insisted he never cheated on her or laid a hand on her.
“She’s an evil woman,” he said. “I’m telling you. It’s like what Jill Scott wants, Jill Scott gets. People are in her ear, and if someone comes in to challenge the dumb s**t, they made me be the bad guy and that got me outta there.”
Adding that she has “issues” and sees men as a challenge, Dobson continued, “She’s made other men look bad, but I’m not the one. I said (to her) ‘you’ve met your match’… She likes to have men that she can control. You’re not gonna control me. What’s right is right, and what’s wrong is wrong.”
He said they agreed to separate, work on their relationship and keep wearing their wedding rings.
Scott, who has a son from a previous relationship, listed their separation date as 5 September and asked the judge to enforce their pre-nuptial agreement.
