Justin Theroux couldn’t get Jennifer Aniston to read lines for The Leftovers

Jennifer Aniston refused to help her actor husband Justin Theroux learn his lines for the final season of his TV hit The Leftovers, because she didn’t want to read any spoilers.
The former Friends star is a huge fan of her man’s drama series, but she didn’t want uncover any details about the show’s third and final season in advance – so Justin had to find another way to run through his script ahead of filming.
The series finale is set to air in the U.S. on Sunday (04Jun17), and Jennifer will be among the avid viewers tuning in to watch.
“Jennifer does not know what’s gonna happen,” Justin told U.S. breakfast show Good Morning America. “She’s a fan of the show, so she doesn’t want any spoilers. She wouldn’t even run lines with me, she’s that much of a fan.”
The actor has been sworn to secrecy about the big ending as he promotes the show, which revolves around the sudden disappearance of millions of people around the world in a rapture-like incident, but Justin insists he is more than satisfied with the way The Leftovers comes to a close.
“It’s one of those awkward things where we’re not allowed to talk about what’s going on, but I’m very happy with how we end our show,” he explained. “I can say this: I was very happy with the way the show ends, enormously.”
The series is based on the 2011 novel by author Tom Perrotta, who helped to adapt the story for TV, and also stars Liv Tyler, Amy Brenneman, Carrie Coon, Regina King, and Paris Hilton’s boyfriend, Chris Zylka.
