Justin Timberlake is set to be feted with a top honor from officials at the Songwriters Hall of Fame.

The SexyBack hitmaker will follow in the footsteps of Lady Gaga when he is presented with the second Contemporary Icon Award at the organization’s 50th annual event.

The prize is bestowed upon a “songwriter-artist who has attained an iconic status in pop culture,” according to a press release from event organizers.

Timberlake will pick up the accolade at the 2019 Songwriters Hall of Fame induction ceremony in New York City on June 13, 2019, when rap legend Missy Elliott, folk veteran John Prine, British singer Yusuf Islam, formerly known as Cat Stevens, and R&B writer/producer Dallas Austin, will be saluted as part of the Class of 2019.

Lady Gaga was named the first recipient of the Contemporary Icon Award in 2015.
