Mary Richardson Kennedy pleaded guilty to a charge of driving with ability impaired last month (Jul10) after police officers witnessed her slam her car onto a sidewalk outside a school in Bedford, New York.
Her licence was suspended for 90 days and she was also ordered to attend alcohol education classes.
But Kennedy is in trouble with the law again after her car was pulled over by cops in New York on Saturday morning (21Aug10) on suspicion of speeding.
She was charged with driving while impaired by drugs after allegedly failing a sobriety test and is due in Pleasant Valley Town Court in New York on Thursday (26Aug10).
Kennedy was reportedly driving with a conditional licence at the time of her arrest.
Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., the son of assassinated politician Robert F. Kennedy, filed for divorce from his wife of 16 years after her arrest last month.
