Kiernan Shipka suffered ‘angry skin’ while shooting Sabrina reboot

Kiernan Shipka suffered from “angry skin” while shooting Netflix’s Sabrina, the Teenage Witch reboot.
The young actress will pick up where TV favourite Melissa Joan Hart left off as Sabrina Spellman in The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which is based on the comic book series of the same name.
While Kiernan was thrilled to play the half-witch teenager on the show, she reveals she had a terrible time with her skin while filming in Vancouver, British Columbia.
“I was having a lot of skin troubles when I moved up to Vancouver because a) I found out I was allergic to the cat on the show, so there were a lot of hive breakouts happening, and b) just adjusting to the new pollens,” she told Byrdie.com. “Plus, I think lack of sleep and the physical and mental stress of taking on this giant job made my skin angry.”
The flare-ups prompted Kiernan to reassess her skincare regime and try out new products: “I landed on a brand called Marie Veronique, and I swear my skin has never been clearer… Their cleanser, their face oil, and their retinol serum are so good. I also love me some face masks,” the 18-year-old noted.
