Kim Kardashian teaching daughters to use their insecurities as ‘motivation’

Kim Kardashian is teaching her daughters to embrace their insecurities.
The 38-year-old reality star shares daughters North, six, and 19-month-old Chicago with her husband, Kanye West, as well as sons Saint, three, and Psalm, who they welcomed via surrogate in May (19).
And the star, whose empire includes the KKW Beauty cosmetics line and Skims solutionwear, which launched on Tuesday (10Sep19), told Elle U.S. she’s teaching her daughters that when it comes to their bodies, feeling confident is the most important thing.
“I think my kids are a little too young to really understand what cellulite is and have those conversations,” she shared. “But they also see that we’re in front of the camera, and I like to feel good about myself, and there’s a time and a place. It’s not like I sit home with body makeup all over me, but I do feel really confident.
“I mean, (North is) the most confident person on the planet. So I don’t think I’ll really have a problem there, but I always teach body confidence and always wanting to feel your best.”
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star went on to share she hopes her kids will follow her example and use their insecurities as “motivation” to improve their health and lifestyle, adding: “If I’m feeling a little bit heavier than usual or… even if it has nothing to do with weight, eating really clean and teaching my kids, that has been really important to me, and I’ve learned that.”
