Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard ‘vows to find armed robbers’

Kim Kardashian’s bodyguard has reportedly vowed to bring the armed robbers who held his employer at gunpoint to justice.
Pascal Duvier, who was acting as Kim’s security detail on her trip to Paris, France, was absent when a group of criminals reportedly bound and gagged the reality TV beauty at gunpoint in her apartment on Sunday (02Oct16), before making off with $10 million (£7.9 million) worth of jewellery.
During the incident, he was reportedly guarding Kim’s sister Kourtney and half-sister Kendall at the nearby L’Arc Nightclub nightclub, leaving her alone in the apartment. All three sisters were in the French capital for Paris Fashion Week.
Speaking for the first time since the terrifying armed robbery, Pascal said he already has some clues as to how to find the perpetrators.
“The events that occurred in Paris was one of the most sickening things I have seen or heard,” he reportedly wrote on a social media account which is no longer live. “We have tips and leads and we will find you. That I promise you…you messed with the wrong one.”
Pascal, a German-born judo expert has previously worked with the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kanye West and artists such as Ciara and Katy Perry.
After news broke of the robbery, security consultant was heavily criticised for his absence by Kardashian’s fans on social media, with British TV host Piers Morgan even calling for him to be sacked.
However, in an interview with Piers and co-host Susanna Reid on U.K. TV show Good Morning Britain, Kim’s former bodyguard Steve Stanulis defended Pascal.
“I happen to know Pascal very well, and he is the epitome to what a security should be,” he said.
Steve added he believed that someone with knowledge of Kim’s movements helped the robbers by feeding them information on when the star would be most vulnerable.
“As the facts keep coming out, the more I hear and the more stuff unwinds,” he explained. “100 percent it’s an inside job. They knew exactly where to go. They knew exactly where to find the jewellery.
“The main security was out with the sisters. Of course they were showing all this jewellery on social media and snapchat – it was the perfect storm to get robbed.”
Editors at TMZ.com report that French police officers are investigating whether an insider told the criminals exactly when to strike.
Sources close to the Kardashian sisters told editors at the gossip site they do not believe their bodyguard is the person who provided the alleged tip off.
Kim has flown back to the U.S. after the incident, with rapper husband Kanye West rescheduling a number of tour dates to comfort his wife after her ordeal.
